This was the first list and has always been the most searched for and viewed according to the web builders statistics. I had a dream one night around 2007 that someone asked me for a bible verse that involved healing and I couldn't think of one.
When I woke up I decided I didn't want that to happen in "real life" so I put to mind to make a list of a few verses I could refer to.
I then searched the internet and the bible for verses relating to healing and I made a list which I used for reference to pray for family friends who were facing physical and emotional difficulties in their lives.
That idea expanded to taking a new bible, highlighting the verses and "tabbing" the pages so they would be easily found. That bible would then be given to the person who was suffering physically and/or emotionally in order to have something they could hold onto and to refer to for hope and encouragement from the word of God. They could also take some comfort knowing that someone took the time to think of them in prayer during their trials. While we were timid at first we have "assembled" several bibles for friends, family and co-workers and each time the bible has been well received beyond our expectations.

HOW TO make the Healing Verses Bible:
Feel free to download the Healing Verses list at the top of this page. For the "Healing Verses" I like to use a LARGE PRINT Compact Bible (King James Version). The KJV is more "poetic" and the LARGE PRINT is helpful when people are sick or ...more mature.... Bibles like the one pictured are $10-$13 available at booksellers and large "everything" stores. The TABS are around $3. for the healing verses bible I use a light blue map pencil to highlite the passages and it seems to work best. The tab colors don't matter for this one (if you are making a "Verses for men or women" version then the colors are related to the subjects---see the "How to" TAB). There's only 85 or so verses that have to be highlighted and tabbed (I think). It takes two or three days if you are working alone to complete it (depending on how much time you have..of course). While you're assembling the bible you are also studying and meditating on the verses as well as using them to pray f0r the recipient of the bible.
It's a long list and it has grown and been "whittled" since the original as I read study more and "grow" more. Use the list as you see fit. Of course you can use all or part of the list.
And don't forget about "context". this isn't "name it and claim it". Sometimes we don't get physically healed but our afflictions are meant for a purpose. Take John 9:1-3 for instance;
John 9:1 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.
...and...
2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Note carefully: No teaching anywhere on this web site is intended or should ever be construed to justify or to in any way incite or encourage personal vengeance or physical violence against any person.

And don't forget about "context". this isn't "name it and claim it". Sometimes we don't get physically healed but our afflictions are meant for a purpose. Take John 9:1-3 for instance;
